Frozen State Report Enhancements Form 50-253, Revision 9-24/36
• Correct Total Homestead Count (Line 1): Columns A and B now report independent homestead counts, as required by the 9-24/36 revision.
• Exclude Zero/Negative Levy Loss Accounts: Accounts where both Levy Loss and Levy Loss Pre-SB2 are zero or negative are now excluded from the report entirely.
• Zero Out Negative Levy Loss Columns: Where only one levy loss column is negative, that column and all corresponding downstream fields are zeroed out at the account level. Tax Rate is unaffected.
• Zero Floor for Value Lost Pre-SB2: Negative values in this column are now floored at zero at the account level before aggregation, per Comptroller guidance.
• Zero Floor for Value Lost Minus Local Deductions: Negative values in these columns are now floored at zero at the account level before aggregation. These columns can independently go negative when local deductions exceed value loss, regardless of levy loss.
• New Pre-SB2 Columns Added to Detail and Summary Tabs: Three new columns -Capped Homestead Value Pre-SB2, Local Deductions Pre-SB2, and Value Lost Pre-SB2 Minus Local Deductions -have been added to the Detail tab. The Summary tab has been updated so that Pre-SB2 summary values are independently aggregated from these new columns.

Payment History Displays Half/Quarter-Pay
  • Tax Office 4 Payments will now display Half/Quarter pay badging like Tax Client used to.
  • These badges will appear at the payment/receivables level.
  • This is an initial step towards surfacing this information with badging in TO4 and will evolve to be more apparent when drilling down into payments/receivables.
Print Payment History
  • Tax Office 4 will now include the ability to print payment history.
  • This will be immediately felt within the manager of collections roles, or anyone else needing to collect a full payment history record on an account.
  • This is filterable by Receivables: both Fiscal Information and Assessment Information, as well as Amount Due, All Years, Current Year, and Prior Year.
  • Printing allows users to generate both a .pdf or .csv file

Account Search Results Re-Ordered
  • Tax Office 4 account list search results have been slightly reordered.
  • The "Type" Column will now be displayed between the checkbox to select an account, and the account number itself.
  • This allows users to more easily select checkboxes continuously, without accidentally hitting an account number and being redirected to a new window.
Create/Edit Fiduciary Contact Number Field Accepts Invalid Inputs
  • Past state of the Fiduciary Contact Number field would accept invalid inputs, ex: numbers over 10digits, alpha-numeric combinations, or notes.
  • This field has now been fitted with a 10-digit validation to ensure users only input valid phone numbers.
  • We will be doing a fast follow to this to add in an extension field next to the existing phone number field to ensure users can continue to use these fields as expected.
Tape Name missing in History
  • Tax Client had the "tape name" in the account history, Tax Office 4 did not display this information. This has now been added to the History section of Tax Office 4 and will display the "Roll" those changes came in on.

Search Bar Breaks with "&" and Special Characters
  • When users input special characters or most commonly the "&" symbol in the Tax Office 4 search bar, it would cause an error that would cause the page to have an issue. This issue has been fixed and will no longer cause a system error.
  • This has not fixed the ability to search with special symbols or the "&" symbol yet. This will require additional work and be a fast follow to this bug fix.
