Erika Junck at Humble ISD is requesting to add billing type for prior years in Mass Billing.
She said, "We presently have to create a separate billing in MB for current year and prior years for SUPP and change and update all of the settings. There needs to be 2 SUPP billing types - one for current year and one for prior year. The work around suggested by the Spindle team puts us at risk of not reusing the same parameters since each month we are needing to manipulate the settings. The goal of MB was to make things easier and this is a pain point causing undo work and also potentially errors."
Apparently, they have different rules/exclusions for their current year and prior year supplements (at least up to February). They want to have a separate billing type for prior year supplement to make it easier for them to keep track of who they've billed and who they haven't. This would use the same procedure, it seems that they just want to have a separate billing type to help them keep organized.
