Denton County has also submitted a request on this. With increased number of checks being issued due to various law changes, this has become a NEED rather than a want. It would decrease number of taxpayers that contact via phone or email if it is clearly noted if/when a check was printed. For recalcs, we currently keep a separate log for our staff to view date checks actually print per supplement. Otherwise, they have to inform taxpayers to view online and watch for check number to update from 0 to legit check number.

This request is almost 2 years old. It appears that there are several customers that would like our check dates to be reflected and reported as accurately as possible. This really should be the case when working with other people's money and for government entities. I just don't understand how reflecting the most accurate of information isn't seen as necessary versus being labeled an enhancement request.
